Race Information

WHAT: The Amazing Turbo Turtle Race will feature approximately 2000 Rubber Turbo Turtles competing for the Top Prize of $1000. Each Turtle will be numbered and each adopted Turtle will come with a corresponding Turtle Trekking Number.

WHEN: Sunday, August 9, 2008 at about 4:00 p.m. Adoption sales will end 15 minutes before race time. You can adopt a Turtle during the weekend at our homecoming booth. Look for the banner with the big green Turtle on it. You can call Turtle Central at 313-581-2577 for the nearest adoption center.

WHERE: Ford Field, 22051 Cherry Hill, at the Dearborn Homecoming, just off the main bridge.

WHY: Adoption money benefits Dearborn Outer Drive Kiwanis Foundation projects, such as Dearborn Safety Town, The Dictionary Project, Handicapped Bowling, and many others.
